Q: Why did you decide to use the services offered by mrd?

I found the online articles so easy to read and understand! They are written in a language and style that was friendly, open and not condescending or technical, like so many other investment sites are. It’s clear that Nick and the team are genuinely interested in helping everyday people understand property, and want to assist them in achieving their own goals at their own pace without being force-fed ‘investment options’. It’s such a relief not to feel pressured, but rather having someone at the end of the phone or an email away that is ready to help when you need, in your own time, when you’re ready!

Q: How, specifically, did mrd change the way you thought about your financial future?

Catherine helped me to understand how different properties would add to my cash flow, and the different effects any number of properties would have on my available equity in retirement. She even showed me how to ‘retire’ at 45!! Talking with Catherine made me feel much more relaxed and positive about my financial future.

Q: How would you rate the PROP out of ten, based on the benefit gained through doing it?

9/10!! – It gave me confidence and information I can now use to build my portfolio, knowing that I can come back and adjust the numbers and seek further advice at any time.

Q: What did you like most about the PROP and the services offered by mrd?

How interactive it was! I’m in Canberra but I could still converse with Catherine as if we were in the same room. And being able to remote into her screen to see how adjusting the figures changes balances, in real time, is pretty cool!

Q: How has the PROP helped you in setting a goal for your retirement?

Before ‘meeting’ with Catherine I had an idea of what I wanted to achieve but no idea how to go about getting there. Now I have a clear path and a better knowledge and understanding of how to execute my plans now.

Q: Do you believe that the 90 minutes spent doing the PROP with the property mentor was time well spent?
