The feedback from Wednesday night’s webinar has been extremely positive with those who registered saying they enjoyed the presentation and gained a lot from it. However, over the past few days I have been speaking with a number of people who haven’t registered because they have “No Idea Of What A Webinar Is Or How It Works”.
Given the success of Wednesday night’s session, I thought I would take the time to explain ‘webinar’.
What is a ‘Webinar’:
A One Hour public presentation in the privacy of your own home or office.
A Power Point presentation complete with voice playing on your computer.
No involvement/participation is required from the attendee.
If you have any questions you can type them into the side toolbar at any time during the session.
It’s like attending an mrd Information Session without having to leave the comfort of your own home. (In many ways it is better than a public presentation as you don’t have to look over heads or be distracted by others).
You can watch the presentation dressed in your pjs while enjoying a coffee and a biscuit or a wine and cheese plate.
What is the Cost:
There is NO cost to you.
What’s Involved in Logging on:
Ten minutes before the webinar is due to start, we recommend you….
- Make a coffee or pour a drink
- Turn on your computer
- Go to your email inbox
- Click on the registration link provided by the hosting company, ‘GoToWebinar’
- After your registration has been validated you will be connected
- Turn up the volume on your speakers
- Sit back and enjoy the presentation, (especially the part where Martin Bell explains how he retired on his equity almost four years ago)
How do I Register:
You need to register with the hosting company (‘GoToWebinar’)
If you have already responded to mrd we would have sent you an email asking you to register with GoToWebinar (a link would have been provided in the email).
If you haven’t responded, there is no need to register on our website, you can go straight to GoToWebinar (in hindsight this would have been easier and less complicated for all concerned – we are learning as we go too!)
GoToWebinar will send a confirmation link to your inbox. Click on the link about 10 minutes before your session begins.

Hi Nick,
I just wanted to personally thank you and your wonderful team for the terrific webinar presentation on the 8th. It was very informative as usual, but very interesting to seasoned MRD clients like myself and my cousin (Paul) who needed an update on MRD outlook on the world economy. We thoroughly enjoyed the information presented and the method it was presented. Both technical (ease of set-up) and with having, Martin Bell, co-present. I really enjoy Martin’s down-to-earth explanations and style. I count him as one of my few mentors that I aspire to.
I would also like to thank you and the team for the hamper I recieved this for settling on 224 Greenwich. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise for those in my family not actively following your property education. My finance broker, Craig Bergin, rang with some terrific news earlier today. My valuation via RAMS on 42 Acacia came in at purchase price, $25K. So, after the low val of 224 Greenwich, myself and Rosemarie (my wife) are over the moon. Doug is a treasure who I really enjoy dealing with and definately value his counsel. He warned my of a possible low val on 42 Acaicia and was very realistic in his expectations (no sugar coating). I would also like to add that my dealings with Wendy have been fantastic. Very professional and timely. It is an absolute pleasure to deal with everyone at MRD.
Please keep up the terrific work you and your team are performing.
Best Regards,
Chris
