THE Robina area has been one of the most active on the Gold Coast, in terms of both new apartment sales and resales in the period from 2002 to the end of 2008, according to research just released.

Colliers International Research manager Lynda Campbell said an in-depth survey of all sales and also the capital appreciation of resale apartments in the overall Robina area showed that it had performed extremely well.

Colliers’ Research revealed that between 2002 and the end of 2008 there were 1313 off-the-plan sales of new apartments in Robina and Varsity Lakes.

In the same period there were an estimated 250 resales.

Robina Land Corporation, through its apartment development arm, RLC Homes, was a prolific developer in the area during this period.

Ms Campbell said one of the interesting findings of the research was the increasing values of apartments in the Robina area.
